The Brian Nisbet Poetry Award celebrates the life of this well-respected poet and Huntly Writer; and is run in conjunction with National Poetry Day.
Rules:
Poems should be between 4 and 40 lines long and with the theme ‘CHOICE’
Poems can be in Doric or English
There are 3 age categories: Up to and including 12 years; age 13 to 17 years; and 18 years and over
Please state whether your poem has previously been published
Entries must be submitted with name, age category and contact information attached separately, to Orbs Community Bookshop 10½, The Square, Huntly; or by email to [email protected] by mid-day on 22nd September.
Only one entry is allowed per person and entry is free.
Prizes will be awarded on National Poetry Day, October 7th. Venue to be announced.
